"I joined Balance Boxes because I know what it's like not to have available resources nearby, and I'd like to change that. Also, influencing other young adults to express their leadership skills and applying that towards making a difference in their own community is very important. 'Paying it forward' is my favorite motto".

It is evident that not all of us are given equal resources in society and I want to be able to change that! It is my promise to every single underserved youth in Minnesota that I will work my best to create equal learning opportunities for all. Carl Sagan once said “the visions we offer our children shape the future,” and that is absolutely true!”
